Sequoia and his crew were very accommodating. My wife had been in an accident and was wearing a cast. They made sure they used the utmost care in getting her on and off the boat. The weather was beautiful and we toured the harbor and they gave us a history of some of the tall ships and wooden boat yard. The recommendation for lunch at the Black Dog was great. Fun time _/)

“Sailing & vacationing on Tandemeer with Sequoia at the helm is an experience of a lifetime for a landlubber like me. He knows where all the best spots are, the quiet bays, the best snorkeling, beautiful hikes, and the best restaurants. He and his crew are fabulous hosts, knowledgable, experienced and always have awesome jokes & stories to tell. Sequoia always makes his guests feel welcome and at home. I can't recommend him enough, either for a day sail or vacation. Enjoy your trip!”

“You're looking at this listing b/c it's unique right? Well go ahead and click "Book." There's nothing like staying on Tandemeer, where the sunset and sounds of the ocean aren't just novelties to see before heading back to a hotel...they're your constant surroundings. Sequoia is a captain's captain, and he & first mate Elena look after you like you're part of the crew-- from teaching sailboat terms to *unbelievable* attentiveness getting you to and from shore (the dinghy is itself a fun ride, which made me feel like James Bond at night in a way Sequoia will rightfully make fun of me for). At a time when COVID has robbed us of so many communal activities, it was extra special to sit above deck and safely drink & laugh w/ them and other guests-- modern day pirates w/o the pillaging. There's a reason the Caribbean catches an easy-going rep, and it's embodied in the unforgettable stay you'll have on Tandemeer.”

"I knew that vacationing on a sailboat would be an adventure for me in many ways. I had no idea how wonderful an experience it would be. The rendezvous with Sequoia was quick and easy upon arrival in Cruz Bay. Sequoia provided a wonderful orientation to life on Tandemeer and I settled in quickly. The location was perfect and I loved the opportunity to snorkel everyday by simply getting in the water from the boat. What a treat! It was easy to get to Honeymoon Beach by land or by sea along with Cruz Bay. What made this an over-the-top extraordinary visit was the opportunity to sail with Sequoia and venture around the island for a couple of nights, enjoying the full moon and cooking a few fun meals along the way. My advice to future guests, stay more than a night or two. I wish I could have stayed another week and I'm going to miss the gentle sway that I still feel after a couple days back on shore."

“My husband and I had a great stay on the Tandemeer with Sequoia! The location was perfect for waking up and snorkeling right off the boat where we swam with sea turtles, stingrays and spotted eagle rays over beautiful reefs! Honeymoon beach was a short swim away with hiking trails leading to Cruz Bay! An adventures dream! Would definitely do it again! Thank you Sequoia.”
